Cole's Choice Foundation is Officially Incorporated

We're thrilled to announce that Cole's Choice Foundation has been officially incorporated as a Minnesota nonprofit corporation. This marks the beginning of our journey to provide inclusive recreational, cultural, and travel experiences for individuals with disabilities across the Twin Cities and beyond.

Our founding board of directors held its organizational meeting on February 26, 2026, where we adopted bylaws, a conflict of interest policy, and outlined our first-year strategic plan.

First Events Announced: Adaptive Bowling & Museum Visit

We're excited to share our first two events! An Adaptive Bowling Night on March 8th at Minnetonka Lanes and a guided museum visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art on March 22nd. Both events are fully accessible, free for participants, and include transportation support.

501(c)(3) Application in Progress

We're preparing our IRS Form 1023-EZ application for federal tax-exempt status. Once approved, all donations to Cole's Choice Foundation will be tax-deductible. We anticipate filing within the next 60 days and receiving determination within 2-4 weeks after that.

Volunteers Needed: Join Our Launch Team

As we prepare for our first events, we're looking for passionate volunteers in the Twin Cities area. We need event support helpers, transportation volunteers, photographers, and people with digital marketing skills. No experience required — just a heart for inclusion.
