Cole's Choice Foundation is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is central to our mission, so it is central to how we build.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one time task.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and landmarks.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
• Color contrast checked against WCAG AA targets, in both light and dark modes.
• Labeled forms with clear error messaging.
• Respect for the "reduce motion" setting, which turns off non-essential animation.

We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. We build accessibility into the site itself.
